Goooorping Hermes stylie....

On Wednesday NGU (a grand friend of mine) and I stood gorping through Liberty's windows for ages...he like the 5 year old inside him thought it was hilarious that this woman was spending aaaaages rollering the floor with pink paint and how old people kept stopping and staring at her like she was part of the display....well it was quite funny...so I took a picture of her make her feel special..

I then went onto discombobulate the actual reason of this trashy caravan plastic 70's neon disposable everyday household items reminding me of items that have clearly escaped from my little sisters wendy house.. which were ladden on mannequins like the weight of trash on fashion was mangled with BEAUTIFUL Hermes scarvess...ahhh....I cant be sure but it looked beautiful and made a true statement of the scarves in such an unusual setting one in particular caught our eyes...yellow with 50's beauty pageant hairsprayed within an inch of their life with pearl like beading...i will make it my duty to discover the origin and meaning of this print..it was so very unusual yet trashily fitting within its environment within that little intruiging bubble of libertys window.

Note this poor women tugging this mass of Hermes on her back like the Hermes horse has for hundreds of years...I could seriously spend hours denoting the meaning of this art like installation...

More to the point this was for an exhibition going on from 7th September -18th October within Libertys about the beauty of the Hermes scarf and was infact called "Hermes pour Liberty of London" and I will most definetly making a call into there on Monday...a post will follow...
