Ruffle me.....um blind?

Aplogogies for the poor quality of photgraph but I was supposed to be working at GFW not being so self indlugent...anywho...this young ladies collection from Northampton University was incredibly, utterly and totally undescribeable.
With this so called credit crunch her expenses on fabric must have been utterly outrageous! Not only was this such shocking and vulgar indulgence the poor model nearly came tumbling of the catwalk due to her ruffleeeey blinded view!

And this young lady below managed just enough ruffle in her bubble with such beautiful nuded and muted tones...now reminding me slightly of my ragged rug I mentioned in the Liberty post...not only did I love the whole Kingston show I also got a great spot and particullarly favoured the way that their models where choregraphed to saunter down the catwalk like a fashionably intimidating flock of feline femmes...it was so much more of a impact for the collection

Cinderella? I found your prints charming!

The so very scrumdidilyumptious British Liberty print seems so incredibly timely with what this Spring/ Summer has delivered and so very beautifully Libertys created their "Prints Charming" exhhibition. In particular my favourite charm is the back of Liberty's the view from Carnaby St. whereby the building has been attacked by ditsy wall paper...it looks so very cute..there is no other word....i fell in love and gasped with excitement!!!!

Lady above reminds me of these rugs that me and my best friend are attempting to master...its called ragging, involving old fabric in strips, a hessian sack and a hook that could gauge your eye out, needless to say its going well!!! not....will post pictures when it looks almost presentable enough to face the world
This little lady also tickled my fancy (above)....shes is so very typical of the 'Liberty Look'

60 minute make over

I apologise in advance but I really took pity on these mannequins at Hussein Chalayans latest exibition at the Design Museum (photo's not allowed...nooooo) my home sweet home has recently turned into a paintstakinglylong edition of 60 minute make over....yes the whole house.....yes my mother is a mentalist, and this just really tickled me. Im sure whoever spent hours druling over the concept for the exhibition thought this was so very 'artistic' 'serious' 'moody' but sorry...really?

Whats the time Mr Wolf?

For all celebratory present giving I am drawn like a magnet to watch shop windows.....no not the reflective surface infact the faces of watches which I feel my duty to buy. I myself do not wear a watch however my B-O-Y-F (hate that word) now has a number and I enjoy photographing them in various situations...the top image was taken on his birthday in his favourite restaurant I thought it quite apt to photograph the watch at its owners favourite location.

Not only do the pictures reveal different situations...I am drawn to know what the time is on the watch and as these photo's occured as a result of my obsession to push my nose against jewelers windows, I think this may be a new snap happy love story.
